Whilst still ensuring the the Royal Oak offers the same excellent high standards you have come to expect, we have introduced something quite unique as far as dining is concerned.

Basically the concept is 'if you can see it, you can have it' . We have 2 fridges for meat and fish and rather than being handed a menu, diners select their very own cut of meat or fish how you would like it cooked, and what you would like it served with.

In addition to this menu which is available throughout the day & evening, we offer a good old-fashioned lunch-time menu.

We also have a good selection for vegetarians which changes on a regular basis, and a traditional Sunday Lunch priced at £7.95 for 1 course and £15.95 for 3 courses. Diners can book in advance or just turn up on the day.


The pub is equally suited for intimate dinners for two, fun family meals out and large parties and special occasions as there are two separate dining ares, and also a medieval style banqueting barn, perfect for larger groups.
Coach parties can be catered for by request.
